the Estee edit {Influenster review}
First off, let me say that I received these items from Influenster in exchange for my fair and honest review. This is not sponsored and all opinions are my own!
This will be quick!
Metallishadow Crème + Powder - Buy yourself a ColourPop $5 shadow instead. This Estee edit one was hard to work with, messy, and just didn't look that great.
Inside Track Eye Kajal - LOVED this eye liner. I like that the double end complements each other and it is super long lasting. Creamy, but stays put.
Radiance Activator Treat + Prep + Glow - This does exactly what it says it is. It's a serum & glowy primer all rolled into one pump. Can be used night or day, under moisturizer or on top....It smells nice and left my skin feeling pretty. I like this but it's pricey and I doubt I would have spent the money on it myself.
Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm with Pink Peony - I freaking adore this eye balm. It's moisturizing, cooling, and I can easily apply my concealer, corrector, etc., after it's sunk in. The best part is the metal tip. It feels SO good on my always tired under eyes.
All around review: This is a pretty decent line. A little pricey for my liking, but good, high quality ingredients and products. I mainly recommend the eye liner and the eye balm. I'm obsessed with those.

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Review
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid is a merge of liquid lipstick and regular cream lipstick. It has a mousse type texture that never dries down. It is highly pigmented and easy to apply. There is a slight chemical fragrance to this lippie though that might be a bother to some.
My main thoughts on this product is: It wants to be a liquid lipstick but doesn't dry down and stay put. The red (Rebel Red) was not cute. It pulled more orange and made my teeth look yellow. The nude (Nude Flush) is a pretty peach nude and I really liked this one. Nude Flush actually applied better than Rebel Red and did not wear away weird.
These are not lipsticks I would go out of my way to purchase, but I am happy Influenster sent me these for free in exchange for a review.

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer
Remember when everyone was excited about that moisturizer that you apply in the shower? Then it came out and it sucked? It was just a lotion...literally...that really did not even moisturize out of the shower.
This is not it. Jergens came out with a new Wet Skin Moisturizer and I received a bottle of it in the Influenster Wellness VoxBox. At first I was pretty critical thinking it would be exactly like the original. But I was wrong. Where that one did nothing, this new moisturizer is oil based, allowing the skin to actually soak up the good for you ingredients while you are still in the shower!
I take my regular shower, and after I turn off the water and am standing in the shower soaking wet, I pop open the blue bottle and squirt some product into my hand, about a quarter size for my legs and about the same for my arms. Then I just quickly rub it in and get out of the shower, reaching for my towel. Once I am dried off, my skin feels a little bit oily, but not slippery! (Side note, I do enjoy body oils, which might be why I enjoy the feeling of this so much). It is like a good moisturized feeling. I honestly have not reached for my lotion after getting out of the shower, because I feel this does the job pretty well.
I will say that the scent on this smells like you just landed in Hawaii and have a lei around your neck. It is a little bit strong smelling at first, but fades. I am interested in finding out if there are other scents in this product, because I really do enjoy it. {The moisturizer retails for $7.99}.
Extra quick review: The Olay Active Botanicals cleanser works wonders with my Clarisonic. The Attitude Shampoo & Body Wash is not that great at being a shampoo, but is the best smelling body wash my nose has ever smelled.
~Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer (and the other 2 items shown) were sent to me by Influenster, complimentary, for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.~

Makeup Inventory - August 2015
This is going to be short and sweet. I am just recording my numbers for what is in my makeup hoard as of this point in time. I have decluttered since January (which was my original inventory). I am going to have 2 separate lists; my inventory as of right now, and two numbers side by side previous count & current count.

Pink Week
Need I say more? Pink is everything to me. Quick story: I used to hate pink, probably as a rebellion towards my mom in my tween years, even though my nickname was/is Pinky. But now, pink - all day, every day. I did #daiseygirlypinkweek on my Instagram all this week. Now here is the look book for all the eyeshadow looks I did. Under each picture I will list the shadows I used as a reference. I like doing these look books; it gives me a one-stop shop for inspiration when needed. Hope you enjoyed this mini-series I did!
